5,327 candles to illuminate Blue Hill at Stone Barns

We transformed the rustic barn at Blue Hill Farms into a sanctuary of flickering light and shadow. Over 5000 candles, nestled in an array of holders, adorn every nook and cranny, casting a warm, amber glow that dances across the rough-hewn walls

The Getting Ready

The bride and her bridesmaids wore custom Mudari embroidered t-shirts from Skims

“I wanted our wedding to feel really romantic and effortless”

- Gianna, the bride

The First Look

Bridesmaids and groomsmen took portraits in hues of blue

It began to rain; a sign of good luck on their wedding day

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place inside the barn under ambient spotlights. We created a curved aisle emulating walking through a field of wildflowers

Florist Studio Jones curated this unfettered look with amaranth and roses

The Cocktail Hour

Blue Hill’s infamous Michelin Star restaurant was the backdrop for their cocktail hour

The escort card display was inspired by Blue Hill’s field of cows; we recreated the billowing hills on their 16-foot oak wood table

The Reception

We flooded the reception with thousands of candles to create an unforgettable wow factor

The bride and groom were stunned when first viewing their candle oasis

“The passion of Chef Dan Barber is at the core of everything here, where a meal is a true experience that uniquely knits together his vision of improving our foodways, the grit of utilizing the land to provide sustenance, and luxurious touches like crisped linens and fine crystal.”

- The Michelin Guide
